Carol Suriano, 70, passed away peacefully with her loving family around her on June 28, 2026. She resided at the Anthracite Apartments and was born in Pittston on November 24, 1955.

Carol was a 1973 graduate of Pittston Area High School. Following graduation, she went to work for Leslie Faye Companies. Upon her retirement and being named the “cool aunt” she put all her love in the next generations. Her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews will cherish the moments they shared with her forever.
In addition to her parents, Joseph and Frances Suriano (Pittston), Carol was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Kenneth Salvo, Sr. (Avoca).
Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Angie Salvo, Avoca, nephew, Kenneth Salvo, Jr. (Sheri), Duryea; Renee Harron (Andrew), Philadelphia; companion for many years, Martin Simko, Pittston; great nephews, Dominick and Tino Salvo, Duryea; great nieces Maeve Marie and Mary Elise Harron, Philadelphia; great nephew, Jordan Rose (Britni); great nieces, Ashleigh Rose (Ryan) and Gabrielle Rose; great-great nieces, Sienna Rose and EverleighRose Pritchyk; great-great nephew, Thomas Hunter, as well as, aunt Lillian Suriano, Pittston and uncle Tony Suriano, WA; close cousins, Lori Faraday, Pittston Township and Janene Yarborough (Rick) Moosic.
The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 9:30am-10:30am in Communion of Saints Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 237 William Street, Pittston.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am in the church. Interment, St. Rocco’s Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
