Daniel Skrzysowski, Sr.

Daniel Skrzysowski, Sr., 58, of Springbrook Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.  Born in Scranton on April 12, 1967, he was the son of Frank and Diane (Milewski) Skrzysowski, of Dupont.

A 1985 graduate of Pittston Area High School and Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech, Dan was a machinist by trade and a proud “jack-of-all-trades” handyman. Known for his big heart and willingness to help anyone, he tackled every project, big or small, with a smile.

Dan will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his aunts, uncles, cousins, many dear friends, and his beloved canine buddy, Luna.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Mary Skrzysowski and Anthony and Margaret Milewski, as well as his sister-in-law, Denise Skrzysowski.

In addition to his parents, Dan is survived by his wife Dawn (Wisniewski) Skrzysowski; and her children, Danielle and Thomas. Also surviving are Daniel’s sons, Daniel, Jr., of Avoca, Nicholas, of Pittston, and stepdaughter, Hydie of New Hampshire, his brothers David and Robert and his niece Alyssa Ann, all of Dupont; and many extended family members and friends.

Per Dan’s wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
