Paul J. Lavelle
Paul J. Lavelle, 70, of Pittston, passed away Monday, October 26, 2026 at Edenbrook Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Kingston, on September 4, 1956, he was the son of the late James and Jane Pyne Lavelle. He graduated from St. John’s Catholic High School, Pittston, and held a degree in accounting.
Prior to retirement, he was a Paint Technician at Celotex Corporation. Paul was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Pirates, and also loved Rock n’ Roll music and muscle cars.
In addition to his late parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers - James, Thomas, and Joseph—and his daughter, Kerry Ann.
Surviving are his children: sons Paul (Heather) Lavelle (Annapolis, MD) and Jeffrey Lavelle (Pittston); daughters Patricia Lavelle (Jason Gardner) (Wilkes-Barre) and Michelle Lavelle (Dallas); and grandchildren: Madison, Alexander, Peytan, Lucas, Kimberly, and Nikolai.
A private burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
