Robert “Bobby” Mark Fida

Robert “Bobby” Mark Fida, 75, formerly of the Keystone section of Plains Township, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Wesley Village, where he resided.

Born and raised in Keystone, Bobby was the son of the late Angelo Mark Fida and Ida Mae Panattieri Fida. He was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and spent his career in the construction industry as a truck driver. For many years, Bobby worked for Addy Asphalt Co. and later retired from Bloomsburg Metal Co., LLC. He was also a longtime member of the Perugia Beneficial Society in Keystone.

Bobby was happiest in the company of family and friends, and the Mohegan Sun Casino was one of his favorite places. Bobby could be found there nearly every evening to play a few rounds of craps and visit with the many friends he made there over the years. He also never turned down the opportunity for a good meal at King’s or Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.

Those who knew Bobby will remember a man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: spending time with the people he cared about, sharing conversation and laughter with friends, a good game of craps, and a meal at his favorite restaurant.

Bobby is survived by his older brother, Richard Fida Sr., and his wife, Marie; his niece, Jean Marie Carver; his nephew, Richard Fida Jr.; his cousins, Leonard Becchetti and his wife Deanna, Mark Fida, Marcy Olivett, Maria Neri, and Barbara Ricketts; and his dear friends, Joe Bellino and Ashley Daugherty.

Bobby and his family would also like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Wesley Village for the care they provided to him throughout this past year.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, 251 William Street, Pittston. A blessing service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home, followed by entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carverton.
