William A. Esser, Jr., 71, of Avoca, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. Born July 23, 1955, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, he was the son of the late William A. Esser and Bernice (Hall) Esser. Bill was a member of Queen of the Apostles Parish in Avoca. After graduating from Nazareth High School, he joined the United States Navy. He later worked as a truck driver for several years and was employed by several local trucking companie
