Beverly Jean Hillard, 78, of Falls, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in Embassy of Tunkhannock.

 

Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 28, 1947, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Watkins Reese.

 

Beverly attended Plymouth High School where she met her future husband, Robert.  She was devoted to her family, especially her son, Bobby, who has special needs, and to her grandchildren, who were a joy to her.  She was active in the community, including her time spent as a life guard with the Pittston YMCA.  She was outgoing and valued her many friendships.

 

Surviving are her husband, Robert Hillard; children, Julie Jurchak (David), Harding; Barbara Hillard, Falls, and Robert Jr., Falls; grandchildren, Michaela Jurchak, Harding and Lucas Jurchak (Samantha), Plains; brothers, George Reese (Marianne), Alabama and William Reese (Wendy), Ohio, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

 

Private services will be held under the direction of the Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
