Jean was a proud graduate of Pittston High School. Throughout her life, she held various jobs but was most devoted to being a caregiver to her beloved children.  She dedicated herself to raising her family, a role she embraced with pride and love. In recent years, Jean was cared for with that same love by her children and grandson- just as she had always cared for them.  It was a source of great pride and comfort to her.

Jean had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed music from years gone by.  She found her greatest joy in time spent with her family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Murman, Sr.

She is survived by her children, John A. Murman Jr. of West Pittston, David A. Murman, of Hughestown, and Mary Grabin of Scranton; grandson Justin Murman and granddaughter Genevieve English.  She is also survived by her sister Ann Marie Casey of Suscon; brothers, Thomas Yuscavage of Suscon and Joseph Yuscavage of Towanda; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, at 11:30am at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.  Friends may call for visitation on Saturday morning from 10am until time of service.
