Kathleen (Kathy) Silviano, 88, formerly of Pittston, passed away surrounded by her loving family, Sunday May 3, 2026 at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Florida.

Born in Pittston January 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frank Serino and Kathryn Entz Serino.
She graduated from Pittston High School in 1955 and in her earlier years worked at Valley Dress, a garment manufacturing business operated by her Uncles Angelo and Albert Serino. For her second act, Kathy became a Clerk at the Registrar of Wills Office at Luzerne County Courthouse. She also finally got her wish to attend college and completed coursework at Luzerne Community College.
Kathy will always be remembered as the life of the party who always had a mischievous twinkle in her bright blue eyes. She loved a good roadtrip, the white sandy beaches of Cancun, a lobster tail or two, and spending time with ALL of her family and friends. She was a second mom and cherished aunt to many.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James (Tilt) Silviano in 1981.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Deneen Jobo and husband Ron, San Antonio, Texas and son, James Silviano and wife Jenny, Orlando, Florida. Granddaughters Isabella Jobo and Katelyn Silviano gave her the greatest joy.
Kathy also leaves behind a brother Frank Serino and his wife Angie, Pittston, as well as their children, Heather Serino Koss, Frank Serino, Jim Serino, and Maria Serino Pizzini.
The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday May 19, 2026 from 4-7PM at Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC 251 William St. Pittston, and again Wednesday May 20, from 8-9:15AM at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday May 20, at 9:30AM in St. Joseph Marello Parish 237 William St. Pittston.
Interment will take place in West Pittston Cemetery.
