Kenneth Kosierowski, 58, of Avoca, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1968, in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and was raised in Exeter Township. Kenneth was the son of the late John and Jacqueline (Gibson) Kosierowski.

Kenneth was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1986. He attended Penn State University for two years before earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University. He later completed his master’s degree in aerospace engineering at George Washington University. Following his education, Kenneth was employed at Langley Air Force Base, served as an assistant engineer for TechnaGlas, and was most recently employed as Senior CIM Engineer for Onsemi Conductor in Mountain Top.

An outdoorsman at heart, Kenneth enjoyed bow hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for R/C airplanes. He was a past member of the Blacksheep R/C Modelers Club and proudly served as president of the Swetland R/C Flyers Club.

Kenneth loved deeply and generously. He was known for his kindness, his willingness to share his knowledge, and his readiness to help anyone in need. Above all, he cherished his family and his dogs. He was especially adored by his nieces and nephews, who lovingly called him “Uncle Twenties,” a nickname that always brought a smile to his face. Kenneth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Lori Jo (Zimmerman) Kosierowski; his children, Annarose Friesen and her husband Mitchell of Farmington, Arkansas, Eddie Kosierowski of Avoca, and Garrett Kosierowski of Pittston; and his grandson, Maddox Friesen. He is also survived by his brothers, Stephen Kosierowski and his wife Becky of Dallas, and David Kosierowski and his wife Andrea of Exeter, along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 22, at 3:00 p.m., at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine Street, Duryea, with Rev. Phillip Webb officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
