Paul attended high school in New Jersey before joining the United States Army in 1964. He served with the 1st Cavalry Division during the battle of Ia Drang in South Vietnam in November 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1967. A talented mechanic and all-around handyman, Paul loved working on cars and spending time in his garage.
Paul was an avid hunter who cherished hunting with his son, Carl. He loved the outdoors, including hiking, mushroom picking, camping, and spending time in the woods. He treasured family vacations to the beach at Seaside Heights and time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as his beloved dog, Jude. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
