Robert “Bobby” Zikoski

Robert “Bobby” Zikoski, 64, of Avoca passed away peacefully in hospice care in the early hours of Sunday, April 19^th. Bobby was born on July 15, 1961, in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Bobby was a devoted pet parent and animal lover and spent many years working as a dog groomer. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Pokorney. Bobby is survived by his aunts and uncles, Judy Lockett, Nancy & Roger Ferretti, Larry & Sharon Shotwell, and Debbie & John Trolio, as well as many loving and adoring cousins and great cousins.

Bobby’s family is immensely grateful to Compassionate Care Hospice, and especially to Adrian and Jen, for caring for Bobby during his final days. The family would also like to recognize Bobby’s lifelong friend, Debbie Wolcott, for all of the time she spent with Bobby while in hospice and for finding wonderful homes for Bobby’s beloved pets. 

A private service will be held with immediate family. Arrangements are by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
