Ann Lello, 100, a lifelong resident of Dupont, passed away peacefully Wednesday May 6, 2026 in the comfort of her home, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.


Born in Dupont on April 5, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Michael Sabia and Margaret Roots Sabia Cipriano and John Cipriano.


Ann was a graduate of Dupont High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager for various dress factories in the local garment industry.


She was a lifelong and active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Ann was always a pleasant and outgoing person. She taught senior water aerobics at the Pittston YMCA for many years, she was an avid reader, she enjoyed cooking and baking and most importantly she loved being around her family.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years John L. Lello in 2013.


She is survived by her devoted daughter, Corinne Lello Toczylowski and her husband Albert; granddaughters: Lauren Wielage (Christian) and Ashley Toczylowski (Ross); five great-grandchildren; as well as, sisters-in-law Angie Lacomis (John) and Margie Lello; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Ann’s family would like to thank Dr. Gibbons and Dr. Sluck for the care they provided over the years, as well as Bayada Home Health Care, and especially all of Ann’s caretakers who made it possible for Ann to stay in the comfort of her own home.


Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family, with interment in Denison Cemetery, Wyoming.
