Elaine Marriggi

Elaine Marriggi, 82, of Pittston, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. 

Born in Pittston on May 19, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Charles and Rose E. Nardi Marriggi.

She was a graduate of Pittston High School. 

Prior to retirement, Elaine was a cashier for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Wilkes-Barre.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Edward Griglock and a niece, Atty. Christine Trottini.

Surviving are sisters, Vivian Trottini (Robert) and Valerie Griglock (Edward), an aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. 

According to Elaine’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 9:30am in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street, Pittston.  Entombment, Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.  Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home, LLC, Pittston.
