Mark A. Andricks
Mark A. Andricks, 54, of Duryea, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest in Allentown. Born in Mahanoy City on October 30, 1971, he was the son of the late Bernard and Darlene (Kechula) Andricks.
Mark was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church in Duryea and a 1990 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School. He attended Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, where he was a standout pitcher for the Division I baseball program. He later participated in tryouts for Major League Baseball. For many years, Mark was employed by Olympia Chimney Supply in Pittston Township.
Mark loved fishing, exploring the outdoors, and using his metal detector. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and the Philadelphia Eagles, but above all, he treasured spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Ben Andricks, and his sisters, Angie and Michele Andricks.
Mark is survived by his wife of 24 years, Barbara Satkowski Andricks; his daughters, Lily
Andricks of Philadelphia, Chloe Andricks of Duryea, and Kierstyn Satkowski of Philadelphia; and his son, Justin Thomas of Avoca. Also surviving are his sisters, Ann Andricks of Shenandoah and Jaclynn Gates and her husband, Bill, of Whitehall, as well as his nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with the Rev. Michael Bryant of Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, Duryea, officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
