Pamela “Penny” Biscotto, 65, of Harding, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, July 16, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pittston on August 8, 1959, she was the daughter of the late John Popko and Eleanor Troy Popko. Penny graduated from Wyoming Area High School and Pittston Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in labor and delivery before transitioning in her 60s to assisting people struggling with addiction.
She was a loving wife and proud mother. She delighted in quality time with all of her family, and few things could make her happier than spending time with her great nieces and nephews. She was a committed fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, and was able to witness a Phillies World Series victory in person in 2008.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Popko.
Penny will be truly missed by her devoted husband, Sam Biscotto, and their children: Jennifer Biscotto (Scott Hall), Shavertown; Charlie Biscotto (Cristin), Queens, NY; Sam Biscotto, Philadelphia; and their beloved dog, Bella. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Cathy Dymond, Sweet Valley; Lisa Gillespie (Joe), Pittston Twp.; and Kim Biscotto (Mike Neishell), Pittston; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday July 22, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Eucharist Church, 535 N. Main St., Pittston.
The family will receive friends and relatives in the church from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
Per Penny’s specific request, sports jerseys and attire are strongly recommended and suits, dresses, and dark colors are strongly discouraged for this celebration of Penny’s life.
