Patrick J. Maisano

Patrick J. Maisano, 80, of Hughestown, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2026, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. Born in Hughestown on September 11, 1946, he was the son of the late Clarence “Quincy” Maisano and Anna (Weltz) Maisano.

Pat was a member of Northeast High School’s Class of 1965. After graduating, he began working at Topps Chewing Gum, where he remained until the company closed. He later worked for more than 10 years at Cleveland Brothers (Caterpillar) in Dupont before retiring.

Patrick was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. When he was not outdoors, he could often be found watching sports. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Carol (Zielinski) Maisano; his daughter, Ellen Maisano, and her companion, Mark Ceaser, of Gouldsboro; his son, Michael, and his wife, Sheila, of Jenkins Township; his grandchildren, Keri Chapman and her husband, Mark, Charles Karichner and his fiancée, Morghan Kelly, David Maisano, and Sandra Maisano and her fiancé, Ruben Martinez; his great-grandchildren, GiaVonna Chapman, Alexander Chapman, Violet Martinez, Damian Martinez, and Iris Martinez; and his brother, Dominick Maisano, of Warwick, Rhode Island.

Funeral services will be held privately on Friday, September 18, at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine Street, Duryea.
