Ronald E. Casterline

Ronald E. Casterline, 78 of Exeter passed away Tuesday July 15, 2025 at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Edward P. and Anna Marie Kostisock Casterline. He graduated from St. John’s High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College.

He was a self-employed trucking contracted and owned Casterline Trucking Co., which was founded by his father and continued by his son.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rae Ann Cella Casterline, 2024 and their daughter Jennifer Casterline, 1995.

Surviving are his son, Edward Casterline, Exeter and daughter, Renee Casterline, (Emily Alt), Lehman and grandchildren; Ashley Parr (Justin), Exeter, Jessica Michaels (Marty), West Pittston, Ava Rae Alt, Lehman and Sammy Alt, Lehman. Also surviving, sister, Joyce Boyer (Cleon), Wyoming, brother-in-law, James Cella (Cheryl), Albuquerque, NM, aunt, Ida Rossi, Old Boston, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday July 18, 2025 at 10AM in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9AM till time of mass in the church. Private interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter.
